What Dion Pay does
Every charge, payment and credit is one entry that is never edited or deleted. The balance is the sum of those entries — so the front desk, the statement and the pay link all show the same figure, and a mistake is fixed with a new entry that leaves the history in view.
One message, one link to a secure checkout for the exact balance. Cards through Stripe’s secure checkout; Affirm for balances between $50 and $30,000 where the practice offers it.
Each statement freezes the figures it was issued with, so the page a patient holds always matches what was sent.
Split a balance into scheduled payments. The patient saves their own card from a secure link, and each instalment posts to the ledger like any other payment.

How it works
Patient responsibility arrives from MDRCM once the claim is adjudicated. Treatment charges come from your team, memberships and deposits from other Dion products. Each is one entry on the patient’s ledger.
Send the balance as a text or an email, or on a statement. The link opens a secure checkout for that exact balance — the patient needs no account and no password.
When Stripe confirms the payment, the ledger is credited and the balance drops — no one keys it in. The payment is then published to the rest of the Dion suite.
Who owes what and for how long, with the patient’s full ledger one click away. Send a pay link, start a plan or take a card on the reader from the patient’s page — failed payments and disputes have their own queues.
Collections analytics and an export built from the ledger itself, so every figure traces back to the entries behind it. Every payment is also published to the Dion suite as an event, so no one keeps a second set of books.
